I installed 386bsd with a hitch. Works great, even tho I am using only what
was on the baby disk. Figured I could ftp over the rest of the stuff
directly, which is where the problem comes in. Entering command;
ifconfig ne0 inet 137.81.2.9 netmask 255.255.255.0
I get;
neinitstartartstartsrtstartart #
At that point I can enter;
route add default 137.81.2.5
and ftp to the world. Unfortunately I am getting nearly continous
"startartstartartstartart" and on and on. while the system is useable it is
nearly unreadable. Does anyone have a clue, I tried two different ne2000
clones and they both do the same thing.
