Excuse me if these are repeated questions... I've been too busy to
keep up with these groups.

[Setup: 486/33, 8megs, SCSI, FreeBSD 1.0 Release, XFree86 2.0]

1.  When I quit out of my X server (XF86_S3), the console is hung.  I know
    that under earlier version of XFree86 and FreeBSD there was a way to
    fix this involving /dev/vga.  That didn't work this time.  What am
    I missing?

2.  SLIP either has a really small inactivity timeout (about 2 minutes) or
    there is a problem with my SLIP setup.  The slattach reports getting
    a SIGHUP, the connection dies,  and then starts the redial script.
    This only seems to happen after I haven't used the connection for
    about 2 minutes.
