Hello all,

Could some kind soul with a serially connected
postscript printer share the secret of configuring
the setup? I'm using FreeBSD 1.0 RELEASE with a
QMS PS-410 in default configuration.

I've tried the scheme suggested in the FAQ, with
the net result that the printing system reports
"waiting for printer to come online" or words to
that effect. Is the daemon looking for a particular
line to go high/low? Declaring the printer "up"
seems to have no effect.

The printer works fine with OS/2, so the cable
is intact and the ports are alive.

thanks for reading
