jmonroy@netcom.com (Jesus Monroy Jr) writes in comp.unix.bsd:

| Election of a new moderator

Read news.groups sometime. Even though huge numbers of people want the
comp.dcom.telecom moderator replaced - it hasn't been done. There is
currently exactly one method of replacing a moderator on Usenet - convince
the current one to quit.

I should hope not. You should commend the management of agate for allowing
things like the 386bsd archive to exist for as long as they have. Agate is
run by U.C. Berkeley Information Systems & Technology as a server for the
Berkeley campus. Don't expect anything else from it. (And don't confuse
Chris with Agate management - they are not the same.)
