Hello all,

Does anybody happen to know if the new RELEASE kernel
can be expected to work properly on a GAMMA system?

I tried the new kernel to see if it could find the
SMC Elite card on a warm boot, and it can.

The kernel does not appear to work if I try to boot the
machine and start up the networking stuff, reporting

ed0: NIC memory corrupt; invalid packet length 1792

repeatedly.

The address and interrupt setting are as used for GAMMA.

Does anbody know the origin of this error? More to the
point, will it go away in a complete install?

thanks

bob
