There is no need to elect a new moderator when the current one is doing
an excellent job. I'm sure that any 386bsd related announcements would
be posted if requested. I have not seen any 386bsd announcements in any
of the 386bsd groups for many months, and the last one was about 386bsd
next release being this summer :-(that was in response ty my question of
"when").

There were some points of conflict listed. I agree that there MAY be a
case of contention between the goals of the 386bsd and the moderator of
announce. That DOES NOT mean that the moderator will let his personal
feelings interfere with his responsibilities.

I feel that it is the 386bsd group that has lost credibility by keeping
silent, and not making the announcements of delays/progress. (And yes,
we all appreciate the original effort, but NetBSD is today, and 386bsd
seems to have left the realm of the real world.)
