Hi,

As promised (some weeks ago), the port of the BRM netrek client for
NetBSD is now avaliable. You can get the binary from

ftp.cd.chalmers.se:/pub/incoming

until it is moved to /pub/netrek/brm-bin

The file is gzipped, so you must get it using ftp binary mode, gunzip
it, and finally chmod +x the file. The resulting binary was build
on NetBSD-current under XFree86 (I do not know if it was 1.3u1 or 2.0).

Thanks to the people at 'hulk' (you know who you are) for loaning me the
account to build the code on. Hope you enjoy the fruits of your
generosity.

This client features all the BRM standard features (config. distress,
short packets, ping stats, macros, etc). The client will work on RSA
servers in about a day or two when the key gets updated in the golbal
server database. Please be patient of you get kicked off as a
cyborg.

For those who play via ppp or slip, there is -nothing- to use but the
BRM. It's ease of configuration coupled with the short packets
really speeds thinks up.

FYI the FreeBSD client works great (same place as the NetBSD
client). It has been out for several weeks.
