I know that FreeBSD/NetBSD is compatible with the Adaptec 1742.
Apparently, the 2742 is a similar card with a RISC chip. The dude I
talked to at Adaptec didn't seem to know very much about the card, so
I'm wondering if anyone out there knows whether the 2742 is
downward-compatible, and if not, whether there exist drivers for the
2742 yet.

Thanks..
