This last sentance doesn't make sense.. 1542B works WELL with external
CDROM AND HD.. (That's how I wrote and tested it..) why go to a 1542C?

Hey you're not using the 'as' drivers are you? (I mean you're usingthe
'as' bootblocks?

The C has several differences.. make SURE
you have ALL the externded features turned OFF.

not known

2.3, but any way, get a NETBSD or FREEBSD bootdisk..
it will install new bootblocks for you if asked..

in general I DO urge people to use FreeBSD or NetBSD in prefernce
to 386bsd0.1+pk, mainly because if something like this happens,
then those of us who wrote the stuff can help you..

I will be puting both NetBSD and FreeBSD (both with NEW NEW scsi code)
of for SUP collection (and an ftp of the sup program) on ref.tfs.com
in the next week.
(I just put the new SCSI code into FreeBSD and will be doing the same
for NetBSD over the next week.)
