Alain,
	IF it IS an Etherlink II board (3C503) then you need to setup
the board to the following specs (set jumpers on board)

	Shared Memory:	D800:0000	(set the jumper to the D800 pins)
	
	I/O Port:	280		(set the I/O jumper to the 280 pins)
	
I'm working from memory as to what the jumpers are called, but that's 
where the generic kernal expects to find the board. BTW, It'd be better
for you if you post the questions you have about FreeBSD to the
'comp.os.386bsd.questions' feed OR send e-mail with a description of 
your problem(s) to:	freebsd-questions@freefall.cdrom.com
