I've just tried to look at freefall's Freebsd area; this is what
I see:


257 "/pub/FreeBSD" is current directory.
ftp> ls -l
200 PORT command successful.
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
total 2
-rw-rw-r--    1 0             117 Sep  4 07:32 README
226 Transfer complete.

I hope this is something that can be fixed...
