I'm trying to set up Taylor (GNU) UUCP 1.04 under NetBSD-0.9 and can't
     seem to get it running.
Everything compiles fine, no errors, no warnings but the executable of
uucico I get	does absolutely nothing. It starts, terminates and that's
it. Debugging is enabled, i don't get any Information out of it though.
If you call it with -l option, it asks a login and password and - guess
     what - terminates.
It does not even say Shere=mysite as my other uucico does.

Could anyone give me a hint about this please ? Anyone got this thing running
or could propose a different UUCP package ?

Did you look in the log file (/var/spool/uucp/Log) to find out the reason
for its premature termination? Maybe it doesn't think there is any work.
Maybe its configuration files don't have the proper ownership or permissions.

I have been running Taylor UUCP 1.04 (under 386BSD and FreeBSD) for about
7 months. Before that I was running 1.03. It works.
