I have successfully built the 2.5.0 gcc (the compiler compiled
itself and the object compare after stage3 worked).  I encountered
no problems.  This was on a 386bsd 0.1 system at patch level 0.2.4.
I have not had an opportunity to try it out much (I have not tried
g++ at all).
