I remember some time ago abut people elm vaporizing mail. I'm having a similar problem with the version of pine that i just ported. It can't connect to sendmail correctly. If i use a different machine, it works fine, but if I try to connect to the smtp on the machine that the client is running on, the mail just vaporizes...POOF. No bounce, no receipt, no nothin. Does anyone have any ideas?
