I have 2 IDE drives working in the Master/slave mode. As far
as I can tell they work fine under DOS I have them configured and c:
and d: and am able to use them and transfer stuff between them.

I also have FreeBSD on the drives. I am able to mount a file
system from my slave drive and work with it and fsck the partitions.

However, if I put any partition from my slave drive in fstab
the boot hangs at the fsck check with the controller led on solid and
the disk silent.

Is it a faulty controller? Does it have anything to do with
the system attempting to run fsck's in parallel? I do have different
priority numbers for the partitions in fstab. Is the boot time fsck
in any way different from the one that is run later?

	Any ideas would be appreciated.
