Hi,
Now I am a bit confused by the installation problem with FreeBSD. I tried
yet another time with installing FreeBSD on SCSI disk only (ie on sd0), but
I still keep getting the same problem as before, ie fsck core dump error!
That actually means, it could not be just the wd driver bug, I might be wrong.

The error 2 (panic) above is again experienced! Yes, ifconfig (as suggested
by Rod Grimes) is somehow corrupted and causes panic. OTOH, one of the guys
pointed out to me that the panic during network startup is caused by my
3c503 was first probe and set up by ed0, and followed by is0 (another driver)
again, and that mess up the thing, and I was suggested to rebuild a kernel
to comment out the is0 line in the config file. I tried this on my previous
installtion on wd0, but guess what, the 386bsd which is smaller than the
original 386bsd and 386bsd.GENERICAH can't be loaded during boot with complaint
of size too big. So I tried loading 386bsd.GENERICAH (which is > my 386bsd),
and miracly it boots! So, why can't the 386bsd I built be loaded ?

Now I am really confused and frustated and tired, yes, after many sleepless
nights of trial and errors, it seems as if my FreeBSD installation is heading
no where at all!

Have someone experienced what I did at all ?
