Viren's questions were answered in the freebsd-questions group, so
there's no particular reason to go into detail with his questions here
(yet another reason to address your questions to freebsd-questions!
:-), yet I will point out that:

d> Also on boot up, the following line appears:

is0 not probed due to I/O address conflict with ed0 at 0x280

     what does that mean?

Was fine - the kernel saw that there was already another card
detected at that address, so it elected not to probe it. In
the past, they used to muck eachother up, so this is a definite
improvement.

I do not speak for Lotus, nor am I even a Lotus employee. I am an independent
contractor.
