My roommates card has the same problem under i386 Mach 2.5 and 386bsd (I haven't tried it since there was only 386bsd). We never got a solution. You might see if you can pawn your card off on someone else and get a newer SMC card (they now make all of the WD8013's) or a 3com card (I have a 3c503 and have had very good luck with it), or wait and see if anyone else offers a solution. If they do let me know... BTW, his card was bought about 2 years ago, maybe a little more. alex
