Just to clarify this, Marc is using a recent beta version of XFree86
which complains if it can't get the tty settings of the device
used by certain mouse types (including Microsoft).  The 1.3 version
silently ignores such things.  So, if you are using XFree86 1.3 and
have busmouse problems, the cause must be something different.
