Thanks to Andy Valencia, Brian and other people that answered my question. I agree wiht Andy that the best thing to do is to work with NE2000, but there are here about 10 NE1000 that we would like to use, and it realy works with NetBSD V0.9 (also with V0.8), but the device driver is getting a wrong ethernet address. Look:

	NetBSD 0.9 (GENQSERVER) #2: Mon Sep 20 11:04:17 PDT 1993
	  Gorgonio@monica.fee.unicamp.br:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENQSERVER
	[...]
	ne0 at 0x300-0x30f irq 5 on isa
	ne0: ne1000 ethernet address 00:4e:2a:00:00:00
                                              ^^^^^^^^
What does this isr 1[57] mean? I did read the FAQ about irq 2, and, as you can see, we're working with irq 5. I think that there isn't any device using it yet.

	ne0: error: isr 17
	ne0: error: isr 15
	ne0: error: isr 15
	ne0: error: isr 15
	.
	.
	.

There are a DECpc [486] working as a router (gateway) with a 3Com and a NE2000 here. I tried to put two NE2000, but it didn't work as a ne1. I just change 0 with 1 in the kernel conf file, and, of course, recompiled the kernel.

Questions:

	1. What does ``ne0: error: isr 1[57]'' realy means?

	2. Why ne0 device driver takes a wrong ethernet address?

	3. Isn't possible to use a ne1 device driver?

Thanks,

					Gorgonio
