there is no aha274x driver..
The 2742 is:
	1/ buggy by all reports
2/ totally incompatible with anything in the (known) universe
3/ apparently designed to only run with adaptec supplied drivers
which apparently have to be quite low level.
(and which you have to PAY to get)
(for some strange reason they haven't written 386bsd
		or linux drivers 8-)

Of course, I'm 85% the way through rewriting the scsi system, so if
anyone wants to send me a 2742 and a manual, a driver might magically
appear 8-)

adaptec needs it's coporate head read..
I recommend either:
aha1742, or a bt742 for EISA
bt445 or Ultrstore 34f for VESA
there is a driver for the 24F in the wings.
