Hi,

I'm not sure if this is much of an help, but here is what I do to setup
slip.
1. Dial login with kermit. Do the login. CTRL-\,CTRL-C,CTRL-Z.
2. Execute my slip.up shell program that contains..
3. slattach -s xxxx /dev/com0
ifconfig sl0 inet 198.64.84.XX (my ip) 198.64.84.xx (his ip)
   route add default 198.64.84.xx
   ping 198.64.84.xx
4. Thats about all there is to it. I'm also running named with
setup so that my machine is my domains primary nameserver and
   then uses the other ones.
5. Note: This takes some messing with named.boot and namedb
to get it work (the local nameserver).

Hope it helps...
