I have a problem with my NetBSD-0.9 system... It runs fine for long
periods of time then, at random, hangs with the hard drive LED on solid.
It will still connect on TCP/IP ports but does not give a login prompt. The
console acts the same way. The only way to get it back is to do a system
reset. I thought it was one of my cards so I replaced it (it was causing
a stray interrupt now and then on IRQ 7). But it just did it again so I
am back to square one.

     Here is my system configuration:

	Intel 80486dx/33
	AMIBIOS
	16 MB SIMM RAM
213 MB Maxtor 7312AT hard drive
	Tseng Labs ET4000 VGA card
	Generic IDE/floppy controller
	SMC Elite-16T ethernet card
	NetBSD-0.9 (GENERICAHA) from sun-lamp

The ethernet card is configured at IRQ 2, I/O base 280h, RAM addr D000:0
For some reason it says the the SMC card is of type "unknown (8-bit)," but
since it works I left it alone.

If anyone can shed some light on this situation or needs more information
please post here or send e-mail to nowhere@bsu-cs.bsu.edu.

Thanks in advance,

Chael Hall
