Please Help, I just installed FreeBSD on a 386dx with 8m ram. After installing
that I installed the newest version of XFree86 (1.3u1). I executed the
x386install script which seemed to work, except the 'if grep -s pcprobe /386bsd'
line spews garbage all over the screen. Then I 'xinit >& xinit.out' and the
server tries to start but dies. The error is:
Cannot open mouse: Device not configured

	Fatal server error:
	failed to initialize core devices
	XIO: ...
In my Xconfig file I have 'microsoft "/dev/com1"'. I've also tried a logitech
mouse with the same error. So I run x386install again and it configures com1.
I run x386install a third time and it says com1 is configured correctly. So
I do the xinit and get the same problem. What's going on?

-Thank you in advance
