: Gee, all those poor souls using the barsoom driver (NetBSD) are
: getting these annoying error message, while those lucky ones running
: with the 0.1, patchkit, or FreeBSD one never see it. Must be
: something WRONG with the barsoom driver, eh?

: Nope! The barsoom driver has the printf for the "extra
: interrupt" uncommented. It is commented out in the other drivers.
: This message can usually be safely ignored.

I'm getting these every time the hard disk is being accessed.
That means, i cannot even disklabel the disk.
I have successfully used one of the drives (a seagate 110MB HD)
with NetBSD 0.8 as well as with 386BSD.
The other drive is a Conner 40MB drive (Just for testing!).
No go, either. Changed the Multi I/O Board (HD,FDD,Ser,Par,Game)
against a plain IDE-HD/FD Controller. Problem remains.
I even don't know what that 'extra interrupt' message is trying
to tell me. Occasionaly i get an 'stray intr 7', too.
Might all this be related to some other hardware component ???
