I have seen this occur in FreeBSD, NetBSD 0.9 or pk0.2.4, perhaps it has been
with us from the start. Some hardware seems to work with these drivers, some
definitely doesn't work.

The driver that I am using recovers every x minutes, where x tends to vary
randomly between 0 and 120. I get a crash about once a day as a side effect.
