Just to say it doesn't happen to everybody. I compiled it out of
the box after reading the readme which stated where to get and put
ioctl_pc.h and it's been running just fine ever since. I do admit
that I included PeX XTEST and all the other options, but otherwise
I changed nothing. I added -DNETBSD to the bootflags for messing
with sources later on just in case 386bsd does stuff that NetBSD
doesn't like. I'm using 0.9.

Try using the sample Xconfig supplied instead.
