Yeah , I am very tired of just pulling off packages and compiling them.
It is a great exercised but it quickly wears off.

Sometimes, if you do "archie -s ", you may get lucky and find 
the binaries.

There are OS groups for the purpose of enhancing the OS somehow
we have to form a similar group for applications and who knows
developing some wonderful applications. Yes, I am aware
of FreeBSD and their CDROM distribution and have not had 
a chance to check it out yet.

An OS effort combined with a solid applications group can
create an awesome *BSD system. It would be fantastic if
we can start taking the lead in the computing world.
