I understand the sentence - too much time reading American ;) - but I've
no idea what it's about.

Is "Sunworld" a magazine or conference?  Was this actually a quote from
an article?

Comparing installing BSDI on a PC (from floppy?) to setting up a Sun (from
CD or pre-installed?)
