Well summer is almost over and I'm wondering how much progress has been made
in the shared library/console driver area. I think I remember reading that there
was some sort of group formed to make the "ultimate" console driver for xxxBSD..and that it would be ready by the end of the summer?? Can anyone inform us if this is so and when we might expect it to be finished? Also is anyone at all working on shared libraries for NetBSD? or is the shared libraries project going to
end up like 386BSD 0.2 and never come out?

BTW does anyone know of a free common-lisp compiler availiable for NetBSD?
I seen a common lisp compiler for linux that comes with the SLS distribtuion so a Common Lisp compiler that is free must exist... right?
