In the BUGS file the following bug is listed:
>   kernel will dump a vmcore into any partition, if one marked 0xa5 isn't
> 	present.  this can nuke a DOS partition very nicely...

This is very concering to me. How do I ensure that I have a partition
marked 0xa5? Do I just make one on install similar to /tmp and /sys ?
Insight on this would be most appreicated since my dos partition
contains valuable information.
