okay, so thats what ed0 is.... humm what about the kernel problem...

At first there was some doubt about my ability to perform a cat unzip
tar, but I got all the files, almost all the files...
all except one little thing.... the sym link to /sys, I noticed the
error, but figured it (probably) hadn't changed so I could ignore it

Opps. (dont I feel so silly)
