I'm having a strange problem with the sio driver.

I'm using slip to connect to the internet at 38400
on a 14.4 modem, and I'm also running X11R5.
Every time I move the mouse (a mouseman on /dev/sio01)
while there is some slip activity, all sio devices
go dead for 5-60+ seconds.

My configuration is:
  * an 8 port serial card (hostess 8)
  * mouseman mouse on /dev/sio00
  * vt100 on /dev/sio01 (generally not used)
  * a 14.4 modem on /dev/sio02

All of the serial lines are recognized as 8250s instead
of 16550s (which they are), but I've never had any problems
with fifo overflows or any other serial problems.

Any hints are greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone
have patches to sio.c for the hostess8 card?

paul
