Hello,

Where do we get a copy of sources and binaries for (Roell's) X11R4/R5
server either configured for 386BSD-0.1 -- or -- with needed patches?

Is there a version of this server for ATI Graphics Vantage (8514/a)?

Can someone recommend a relatively good yet low cost 1024 x 768 pixel
60 Hz NI 256 color card for use with this server? We do development
of software for image processing -- mostly greyscale to pseudocolor
images for which 3 x 6 bit channels of RGB yielding 256 colors is just
adequate. Occasionally we do limited onscreen animation -- so issues
of performance are of some concern to us. Particular vendors & models
to acquire or avoid would be very helpfull.

Eventually, we would like to do a large scale release of our software
to our academic and government colleagues -- perhaps to general public
if there is sufficient interest.

Thanks, AJ
