(486DX2/66, Symphony chipset, 386BSD+pk0.2.3)

I am experiencing some strange problems with my second IDE disk.
The first IDE disk is a Maxtor 7120 AT which I have no problems
with. My second disk is a Conner CP3361 (340MB, 2794 cyls,
14 heads, 17 tracks). Disklabel and newfs run with no problems.

It's when I do fsck the problems start. I get the error message
BLK(S) MISSING IN BITMAPS in phase five *sometimes*. Other times
it works OK. If I run fsck ten times, I get the error about five
times. It doesn't seem to matter if I answer Y or N to the
SALVAGE? prompt.

When I try to use the disk, it works for a while. I have tried a
couple of times to copy my usr directory (about 60M) from disk
one. Sometimes it works and sometimes I get a panic message that
disappears to fast for me to read.

I should say that I have tested the disk with two different (DOS)
disk test programs without problems. I also wrote a program that
writes a certain pattern (using the raw device) all over the disk
and then reads it back again. No problems.

I would really appreciate any help or suggestions. It's frustrating
to have 340 MB that I cannot use (but urgently need...)!
