After a little more searching, I found the extract command on my
Tiny BSD boot floppy, hidden away a .cpio.Z file (I can't remember
the name right now). For some reason it was extracted to /tmp,
where of coarse it was deleted after the next shutdown.

New Problem: I ran the extract command on the etc01 distribution
and after a whole lot of grinding of my disk, it reported that the
installation had failed because it could not find the install.etc
script file. There is no such file in the etc distribution. Now
what?

Thanks in advance,
Ami Ganguli.
