Much to my amazement, Chris Demetriou, who is still here as I type this,
proved to me that NetBSD 0.9 (pre-ALPHA) was able to boot on my old '386,
which, with any and all versions of 386BSD, was not able to get past the
floppy bootstrap.

Wow! I am *impressed*! I was terribly disappointed when no 386BSD bootables
were able to deal with my old machine, when Linux was capable of doing so,
so I can now believe that *bsd is becoming really portable.

So, yay to Chris and the other NetBSD folks, as well as everyone else who
has contributed to the project.
