	Some work has been done to get it working with Archive
	drives. But were did I get those patches ??

		Yep. And an open() on a non-rwind device should _not_
		first rewind the tape either (don't laugh..)

	Maybe you should checkout the state of the FreeBSD QIC driver?
	FreeBSD should be released in August, so maybe some work
	has already been done (? just speculating)
