Umm, i talked with Bill about that last night... I too am wondering,
because people keep sending me lots of mail... 8-)

a distribution would have been done a bit ago except for some,
umm, bugs (well, actually, fingerprints...8-) on the distribution
disks....

as it is, he says "any day now" -- he keeps getting reports of
"show stoppers" that really need to be fixed...

it'll be out as soon as the show stoppers have been killed...
it's not waiting for 4.4 -- it would take a lot of work to integrate
that stuff anyway...
It will be on all (most) of the dist sites before distribution is
announced...
the docs have been done, to the best of my knowledge...

Now it's a matter of killing the last of the show-stoppers, and
getting it out the door...

keep waiting... 8-)
