I have a 60mb Archive QIC-24 drive from an old Sun386i. This drive
consists of a transport mechanism and an add on Emulex MT02 (?) board
that turns it into a SCSI device.

I can use this drive perfectly on a Sun but can't seem to get the AHA 1542A
to even recognise it's existance. Upon boot up, the drive does make
rewinding noises when the AHA probes the SCSI, but no device is reported.
No tape deviec is found during 386bsd boot up either.

I'm running 386bsd pk 0.2.4 with julian's SCSI drivers. I have 2 disks,
at SCSI ID 0 and 1, on the bus. The tape drive is at ID 4. This same config
(tape at ID 4) works if I replace the 60MB Archive with a 150MB Archive
Viper (again from a Sun). I see the same effect (can detect the 150MB drive
but not the 60MB one) under DOS-5.0 using ASPI5DOS and GTAR.

Any clues?
