I'm going to download the current tree (or rather parts thereof--gcc, kernel)
to see if the lpt in the updated kernel works, since no one seems to be able
to tell me how to make it work in the distribution kernel.

So, under what directory do I install the current tree?

Also, does the current groff work yet?
