With 1 or 2K the lock up happens twice a month. With 4K twice a week and
with 8K twice a day. I'm using SMC ELITE 16 boards (==WD8013).
In the pk0.1 times accessing the com ports lead to hd lockups sometimes.
Now the ethernet driver is the one.
