Anyone know of a database & forms generator that compiles easily and
works? I see Postgres out there for the database engine, but don't know
what to do for the forms generator.

There HAS (I hope) to be something! It seems silly to have to rely on
dBASE III+ to do something as basic as maintain a simple database (flat
file). Ultimately, looking for something to:

  1) Allow specification of file/table (specify field definitions)
  2) Define data entry/edit screen
  3) Handle data entry/edit

Am I just dreaming? Does nothing like this exist?
