I am rather new to UNIX (only about 1 year) I still feel a little wobbly
in the knees about its intricict details.

But After MS-DOS for 8 years I wanted an OS with some power and made the
386BSD choice. I only have about 4 or 5 questions at this time so if you
could please give me a hand?

1) - I try to mount a DOS floppy with 'mount -t pcfs /dev/fd0a /mnt'
I get the error that mount_pcfs cannot exec. Where do I get this file
I have downloaded all of BIN01 are there patches I need? If so what are
their names and where can I ftp them from?

2) - I also have recieved the bininy files to XFree86-1.3 When I read the FAQ
enclosed with the download, it gives the command
	'cat XFree86-1.3-bin.tar.z.*| gunzip | tar xf -'
I have no file 'gunzip' or the later one 'gzcat' is there a patch I must
get for this as well. Names and Locations, please if so!??

3) - What are all of the patches and the like to make a fully functional
     BSD386?

4) - Last but not least. I want to set up several user accounts. Is there
an easy way to do all of this.

If there are FAQ's for all of the please let me know where they are and
their names. But if you just feel generous, please e-mail me at

		travis@char.vnet.net with personal directions.

Thanks,
