Think back to what people were saying about his system software 
products a dozen years ago.  NT "is a form of" UNIX, in exactly 
the same way that MSDOS "is a form of" CMS (which is what at 
least several journalists claimed to have been told at that 
time.).   Which is to say, not at all.
