1st) THE BOOK IS REALLY GOOD
2nd) some of the interfaces described there have been outdated by the
4.4BSD work (partially contained in 386BSD)
3rd) a warning to all german readers: DO NOT OBTAIN THE GERMAN TRANS-
LATION! It's terrible. The translator didn't understand a bit of
what she's been writing about. Most of the more complicated parts
have to be retranslated into english (word by word) in order to
get understood. Really, though also from Addison-Wesley, a bad thing
     of work.
