Hello:

There's a program called xvt that is similar to xterm but has none of the
frills, and hence a smaller working set is produced. I'm trying to
get it running on my BSD/386 but I can't get rid of the error:

Warning: no access to tty (Inappropriate ioctl for device).
Thus no job control in this shell.

My question: Has anybody done this already? This problem seems to be
from the _shell_ command (in my case /bin/tcsh, no flames, please) is
the assumption correct? Does any one have a solution? HELP!

-Andy
