I am running X386 with with a Cirrus Logic chip. Everything works
great except I get a pleanty of snow in 1024x768 mode. Also in plain
640x480 the height of displayed region is only about a half of the
screen. 800x600 works perfect though. DOS programs (like Fractint) are
able to work in all modes without problems. I tried playing with
+-hsync and +-vsync to get rid of snow, but this seams to have no
effect at all.

Is this a problem with my card or with X386 driver? If anybody have
solved this problem (or added more video modes for Cirrus Logic), can
I have a copy of Xconfig?

Also, is there any place where I can get a compiled copy of xview3? I
am trying to compile Sun's distribution and it stops on every second
file with small problems like a prototype conflicting with NetBSD ANSI
C includes. That's fine, but looks like on my PC it's going to take
quite a few days to compile the whole thing with gcc2.4.5 -O2. (And I
don't know if it will work ;) ).

Thanks!

Oleg
