Pardon for my ignorance on this subject, but what exactly is disk geometry
translation?

On my Cornor 30204 manual it has physical cyl/head/sector and logical
cyl/head/sector values. According to the manual, I should always use the
logical values. Is this the disk geometry translation that people are
talking about?

Thanks for any answers...
