(No criticism of Scott.  This is just the one that I finally decided to
reply to.)

Bah!  What's all this complaining about *diversity* anyway!?  Are you
all yearning for the way Yugoslavia was a few years ago?  I for one
am glad the new free BSD environments are rich in options and viewpoints.
